A SCHOOL SPECIFIC REPORT: Apart from the others, we also interviewed our school director, Mr. Haseeb Faquih. Sir threw some light over how we save energy in every possible aspect in our school and here's a summary of the report. |

3)Biomass energy which refers to the energy generated by living or once - living organisms is another form of renewable energy. Biomass feed stocks generated through agricultural crop and forest residues, algae, wood processing residues, wet waste and industrial waste can be burned to create heat or can be converted into electricity to be produced for our school.

Q. What could be the most appropriate way to save energy in schools ? Majority - Switching off lights when not in use Conclusion - If we keep turning off lights and taps when not in use, it will make a small but considerable difference. |
Q. How often do you save energy ? Majority - Everyday Conclusion - Most of the people in India tend to keep a check and analyse how much energy they consume. Q. What according to you is the best way for transportation ? Majority - Walking or cycling for short distances Conclusion - Walking or cycling for short distances will reduce our fuel consumption and every one also agrees with it. |
It was enriching meeting our team mates in the Netherlands. We got to know about the culture of their country which was a different experience. Although language was a barrier, it taught us how we can communicate with someone with whom we do not share a common language. |
